Air curtain and Laminar flow ceiling devices save lives and create a safety barrier to disease to prevent infection when a person is most vulnerable.
Designing to not just meet, but surpass the code requirements in a hospital setting is a must. ASHRAE 170 and FGI guidelines create a rigid system for how all facilities should operate. At Hancock, I went through and designed the air systems to not only meet the existing codes, but also meet the, then upcoming, FGI 2018.

In college, I began an understanding of both C++ and MatLab based programming. In my personal life, I have taken these to explore other languages like Visual Basic for Application development. These applications took on shapes of quickly converting units, creating job folders and importing documents from servers, and rapidly editting headers and footers for specifications.
Personal understanding of devices in my own home has led me to building two personal computers, home automation with IFTTT programming, and appliance repair. Upgrading and updating antiquated systems, no matter how small, is what drives me.
